These seeds were started in July in 3/4” soil blocks and now they’re ready for the winter journey that will lead them to an abundant spring harvest. Snapdragons are always a favorite in May and June, when they start slowing down in the field and we have to start planning the seed starting all over again for the next harvest.

Then we’ll bring everything inside, strip the stems, get them ready for the vase, and make
bouquets together.
That’s Thursdays at Elm this week.
We’re keeping this one small so you can actually walk the farm with us, ask questions, learn
what you’re looking for when you harvest, and make something beautiful from flowers that were
growing in the ground a few minutes before.
